Same warm up as previous
Work sets
Squat 3×5 40kg
Press 3×5 27.5kg
Squats were fine, don’t feel any major struggle yet so can still keep piling on the weight.
Press however I had a feeling I wouldn’t get that far and unfortunately sacrificed a lot of form to make the set which I regret. On the last set I only managed 4 reps and the reps before that were really sacrificed with form as I was really extending my back just to get the bar up. Obviously this is really inefficient and put a lot of strain on my back which I felt immediately. I’ll try 27.5kg again but this time with more concetration on form. Wil lalso spend some time on warm up sets to practice keeping the bar up against my face.
